Avocado oil is a mild, nourishing, semi-fatty oil, rich in lecithin and vitamins, including A, B and D. Avocado Oil for your skin

It is one of the most deeply penetrating oils, as it is rich in a type of steroid called sterolin. Once applied, it is quickly absorbed by the skin, thus making it an ideal moisturizer and skin care agent. The unique power of sterolins can be also used in treating age spots. Avocado oil can help reduce the chances of wrinkles, and subsequently aging. This is because it contains certain anti-oxidant agents that help boost the production of collagen in the top layer of the skin. Collagen increases skin strength and elasticity. With its high levels of vitamins A and E, it may reduce itching and inflammation of the skin and is also beneficial in softening rough and cracked skin in addition to helping soothe sunburned skin. This oil protects the skin against any form of infection as avocado sugars produce an antimicrobial layer over the skin. It is therefore effective in relieving the dryness and itching associated with skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is also effective in accelerating the healing process in small cuts and bruises. The level of its UV protection (about an SPF of 6-8) needs to be mentioned too. Usage instructions
Face: On clean skin spray locally and massage gently with slightly wet fingers. Use it as face oil or night cream for face and eyes.
Body: Use Avalin as a body cream for after bath or as massage oil with jojoba oil or another oil of your choice.
Hair: Before shampooing, apply a suficient amount of Avalin across the surface of the head (it is important to cover roots too) and with your fingers massage the roots and the whole length of the hair for 5-10 minutes. If you have oily roots but dry hair, just massage the hair. Leave it for 20 minutes and then wash your hair. The oil goes away with shampooing. In case of very oily hair, you may need to repeat shampooing.
